Development

Channing is regarded as a unique girls’ school in North London, inspiring and educating the future leaders of a generation.  A strong sense of community and special ethos has been nurtured over our 125-year history and our focus now is on the future. 

We have a number of ambitious and exciting plans and projects which will enhance still further the first-class education we provide and the environment in which we provide it. 

In the Autumn of 2011 we will be launching the Channing School Annual Fund.  This fund will support small-scale projects and improvements that aim to enhance the experience of every girl at Channing School. 

Our bold Development Plan includes the creation of a state of the art Music and Performing Arts Centre, a new sports complex and a re-landscaping programme, as well as the creation of a vital new, dedicated fund to provide bursaries for up to 10% of our pupils.

Plans on this scale will require us to find new and sustainable income streams, and the recently established Channing Development Department is aiming to create a culture of continuous giving and support. 

We are deeply grateful to all our parents, friends and supporters and hope that  as many of you as possible will be able to contribute to our initiatives.
