Channing's finest Mathletes

After school, on 14 January 2010, 14 girls used their brains and brawn to fight for a place on Channing's Matheletes team. Girls in Years 8 and 9 raced up and down the classroom after every whistle blow that indicated that their one-and-a-half minute time limit on their Maths question had expired. The atmosphere was electric and the competition very fierce.
The fab six who are now practising every Thursday for the regional UK Team Maths Challenge at City of London Girls' School on Friday 26 March 2010 are:
Tara Skok, Beth Gowshall and Isabel Finn from Year 8, and Sacha Dorf, Jessie Chan and Emma Collins from Year 9.
