Duke of Edinburgh Silver practice
The last weekend in May was an absolute scorcher, with temperatures hitting 30 degrees in the shade. What better way to enjoy it than lugging a 20 kilogram rucksack through the countryside: that's exactly what 32 Year 10 girls did for their Duke of Edinburgh Silver Practice expedition in Box Hill, Surrey. Despite the exhausting weather conditions and steep terrain, the girls did fantastically well, managing to keep in good spirits and stay on track over the entire weekend. Good luck to all the teams who have their assessed expedition on the South Downs in July.
