At the court of King Tut

Earlier this term, Year 8, accompanied by their Classics teachers, visited an exhibition at the O2 centre - Tutankhamun and the age of Pharoahs.

This is the first time in 30 years that the contents of the tomb, discovered by Howard Carter in 1922, have been exhibited in this country. The artefacts were spectacular and all the girls were amazed by the number of gold objects, showing the wealth and riches of the ancient Egyptians.
