Middle School Girls

Years 7-9 form the Middle School, which has its own building, Brunner House, and its own Head of Section and Assistant Head, who are responsible for the daily welfare, happiness and academic progress of the girls in this section of the school.

Each form has its own tutor and co-tutors who have pastoral care for the girls in their form. Girls are taught in forms for some subjects and in smaller groups across the year for many others.

Sixth Form girls also spend time with the younger girls in their roles as Middle School Officers and Form Seniors, chatting to them and helping them with charity events or clubs. The Middle School is a happy, busy and thriving community, where each girl is challenged, has fun and feels valued.

Upper School

Girls in Years 10 and 11, the GCSE years, form the Upper School.  A wide choice of GCSE subjects is offered allowing girls to maintain a broad academic base for as long as possible.  Flexibility is ensured as we have no set option pools: subjects are allocated each year from student choices.
