A Level (Years 12 and 13)
In addition to Physical and Human topics, our Sixth Formers are also required to study for a Geographical Skills paper in Year 12. This requires them to undertake two days of field studies outside of the classroom. This currently takes place in Epping Forest and Muswell Hill.
Year 12: Urban and Rural Management, The Energy Issue, Tourism, Hot and Cold Environments, Coastal Management, Rivers
Year 13: Global Issues
Year 13 Geography field trip
This year's Geography fieldwork for Year 13 took them to Calshot Spit on the Solent for a weekend studying a salt marsh ecosystem. Despite the occasional squall, some viscous marine life and some very muddy conditions, all the girls enjoyed the trip and completed their investigations with admirable savior-faire. Particular highlights were Lisa Solomon getting stuck waist-deep in the marsh and our evening out in the Master Spinnaker restaurant.

Morocco Trip
In October, the Sixth Form Geographers went to Morocco to look at the incredible natural environments at the base of the Atlas mountains.
