Year 13 Drama and Theatre Studies students performed extracts from Caryl Churchill`s "Vinegar Tom" before the Easter break, using a range of skills from puppeteering, singing, dancing, and playing instruments live. The play, which exposes the horrors of the witch trials in 17th Century Britain, also asks performers to modernise songs and concepts to make them relevant for 2024. All ten performers stunned us with a darkly comic, yet emotional and visual spectacle, which delighted and terrified their audience in equal measure.

Congratulations to our German learners who won first and second prizes in the @goetheinstitut_london FitGreenMind sustainable cooking competition. The prize was a visit from Germany`s most famous vegan food blogger, @mayaleinenbach who led a wonderful cooking workshop for 20 students including German Fun Club participants from Channing and St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School. #girlsenjoyingsuccess
