Junior School Building Update

Phases 1 and 2 of the Junior School building development are now complete!

Not only do we have our new multi-purpose Fairseat Hall and kitchen, Pavilion, refurbished ground floor classrooms and lift, we are thrilled to open the doors to eight new fantastic light and spacious classrooms and a meeting room on the ground and lower ground floors, as well as outdoor learning and play areas for Early Years, and Year 1 and for all classrooms on the ground floor.

Our plan is that by the start of the Spring Term our beautiful ‘new-look’ school will really be taking shape. The Pavilion will be used for PE and Forest School, while Reception,Years  6 will move into their new classrooms on the ground floor and first floor respectively. As you can see, Year 3 love their new classroom on the lower ground floor and the Library is already being set up in the Stable Block, which will also house the Music Room. Year 5 will move back into the main building during the Spring Term.

Our superb, modern and adaptable facilities will have a positive impact on teaching and learning, as well as pastoral care and wellbeing, both enhancing and enriching the girls’ educational experience.

Please watch this space as we continue to update our news on the building project which is now nearing its full conclusion, realising our exciting vision. The final phase will include a Drama Studio, Medical Room, a meeting room/teaching space, offices for the Senior Management Team as well as new staff room facilities We are also planning to have a Science lab and Technology Room. Additionally, we will be landscaping the site to incorporate sporting facilities and an adventure playground.

We look forward to welcoming visitors to the Junior School to see our new facilities as soon as we can.
