On Thursday 9 December in PSHE, Year 10 had the opportunity to attend a talk given by Dr Michele Orini, a current research scientist at UCL. Dr Orini talked about his journey to his position as an electrophysiology researcher, and how his work has taken him across the world, including Paris, Milan and Boston. The talk proved valuable for students, and a question and answer session took place to gain more insight into Dr Orini’s field. It was a lively and engaging discussion, which broadened our knowledge of new medical technology, and the various places a Biomedical Engineering degree can take you. Thank you to Dr Orini for his time and Mr Grossman for helping ensure the talk ran smoothly.
