Music at Teatime – Friday 23rd April 2021

What a pleasure to end our first full week back for the Summer Term with a truly delightful musical offering. Yasmin Byng (Voice) personified ‘Exsultate Jubilate’ with a simply stunning performance of this famous Mozart aria. Constantina Papadopoulos (Bassoon) warmed and delighted with another of her upcoming exam pieces Sicilienne et Allegro by Grovlez-what a treat! Lara Dailey (Voice) gave a tear-jerkingly beautiful performance of ‘O mio babbino Caro’ – if this is what the 6th form has in store for us next week, roll on Wednesday! Nura Bentata (Voice) left us pining with ‘As long as he needs me’ from ‘Oliver’ and Anna Milsom (Voice) certainly gave a passionate telling of ‘I’d give my life for you’. Perhaps in way of celebrating the lifting of some restrictions Melissa Redman (Voice) gave a thoroughly entertaining rendition of ‘Sunday in the park with George’. The sun is shining and it’s set to stay so let’s join her! Do listen again
