Channing School is celebrating winning a 2022 Silver InspirED School Marketers Brilliance Award this week for an episode of its podcast series, Chatting with Channing, in the only international competition that recognises excellence in independent school marketing and communications.
The Brilliance Awards are sponsored by InspirED School Marketers, a community that provides “brilliant ideas and brain food” for independent school employees around the globe.
The entries were judged by a volunteer panel of 71 marketing experts from around the world who are professionals in independent schools or businesses that specialise in independent school marketing. The entries were scored on originality, persuasiveness, copy/script/dialogue, visual elements, execution, and overall appeal.
The judges said the following about Channing’s entry, an interview of the Headmistress:
“An informative senior leadership interview, professionally presented and full of interesting insights and stories, while at the same time providing compelling reasons for choosing the school and wanting to know more about the offering, especially the ‘10% braver’ catchphrase. Well done! Excellent production and execution with persuasive and engaging content.”
Mrs Lindsey Hughes, commented, “We are absolutely delighted that our innovative podcast series has been recognised in this way. We regularly receive feedback from current and prospective parents, students and members of staff that Chatting with Channing is entertaining and informative and this award is the icing on the cake.
