Whether you are an alumna, former parent, former staff member or, perhaps, a prospective parent, I would like to invite you to learn more about the history of our wonderful school.
Our alumnae, or Old Girls, are an invaluable part of our school community and we are very excited about the calendar of events we are planning as we reinvigorate this aspect of the life of the school. I look forward to meeting you and hearing about your time and experiences here.
With that in mind I am very excited to announce our new alumnae and community platform, Channing Connect, where former parents, former staff and alumnae can stay up to date with school news, find out about upcoming events and much more. Please visit the website to register.
In addition to developing a vibrant programme of services and events for our alumnae, I am also keen to continue the excellent work which has already started in digitising the school’s archives. The archives hold particular appeal for me as an historian: they are a fascinating record of the school, its founders and alumnae. Please take some time to browse the selection already held here on our website. If you, your peers or family have any artefacts you would like to loan to the archives for digitisation, please do get in touch.
If you have any questions or suggestions about alumnae events, Channing Connect or the archives, please do not hesitate to contact Jade Francis in the Alumnae Office by email at alumnae@channing.co.uk. I look forward to seeing you at an event soon!
With very best wishes,
Lindsey Hughes
