This week we were in the Founders Hall for our recital of vocal music. Juliet B started proceedings with a beautiful and soulful performance of ‘Poor Wayfaring Stranger’. Millie W followed with a musical rendition of ‘Some things are meant to be’ and then Chloe gave a haunting and powerful performance of ‘In his eyes’ from Jekyll and Hyde. Three young performers to watch! Hannah D and Sophia M, both in Year 11 then sang ‘The Water is Wide’ and ‘Something Wonderful’ both displaying great maturity of tone and musicianship. The recital closed with a fabulous performance of ‘Winter Song’ given by the Brunner Show Choir led by Miss Zanardo. Again we had a huge audience of over 100, this time packed into the Founders’ Hall, but for those of you that missed it, do listen here:
