Thank you very much to Phoenix in Year 12 and her family for gifting a copy of Portraits for Posterity to our Senior School Library. Portraits for Posterity is a project that began in late 2007, documenting Holocaust survivors who settled in Great Britain after World War II. The book features portraits of survivors alongside their personal stories and messages, including a profile of Phoenix`s grandfather.
Since the project`s inception, 101 portraits have been displayed across the nation, with the most recent exhibition held at Finchley Reform Synagogue earlier this year, in line with Holocaust Memorial Day and the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. @holocaustuk @mattwrittle

We are seeing some great collaborative work going on in Mural Club as we finally get to the painting stages. Students have selected themes of ‘The Environment’, ‘Channing’ and ‘Inspirational Women’ for the current 4 boards. They are starting to take shape and we are looking forward to exhibiting them around the Brunner House building works when they are completed.
