Music at Lunchtime – Friday 23rd September 2022

We had a short but sweet recital last Friday that began with another Year 7 student making their debut on the Arundel Centre stage. Luna T played Grieg’s ‘In the Hall of the Mountain King’ producing a fabulous tone on her flute. Emma F then played one of her grade V piano examination pieces – ‘Changing Times’, with a real sense of style. It was then the turn of our vocalists; firstly, Maya H-B giving a beautiful and stylistic performance of Alicia Key’s ‘If I Ain’t Got You’. Ruby D closed today’s recital with a passionate and powerful rendition of Dusty Springfield’s hit – ‘You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me. Enjoy these four excellent performances:
